Full Description
An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the southeast of Pat's Castle, Piddletrenthide <1>. It is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project <2>. It is one of a wider group of small extractive pits situated between two dry valleys in the vacinity of Pat's Castle.
