An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the southeast of Pat's Castle, Piddletrenthide. It is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. It is one of a wider group of small extractive pits situated between two dry valleys in the vacinity of Pat's Castle.

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the southeast of Pat's Castle, Piddletrenthide <1>. It is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project <2>. It is one of a wider group of small extractive pits situated between two dry valleys in the vacinity of Pat's Castle.
