Full Description
An Old Chalk Pit with associated Lime Kiln is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the east of Druce Higher Barn, Puddletown. The pit is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; four other smaller hollows are situated within the same modern field. <1-2>
