Full Description
A linear group of three mounds are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the northern edge of a small dry valley to the west of Bellamy's Farm House, Piddletrenthide. The features are 12-14m across and located to the east of a number of post medieval chalk pits described in MDO48700; they are likely to be the remains of post medieval spoil heaps however there is a possibilty that they may be Bronze Age round barrows. The features were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <1>
