Full Description

Three pieces of Neolithic pottery, including an Early Neolithic 'trumpet' lug, 910g of burnt flint and a struck flint flake were recovered from subsoil layers in an area of 9 square metres. Nearby was a shallow feature interpreted as a pit. The filling of the pit had a concentration of charcoal towards the bottom, and it may possibly have been a fire pit. (Milward 2014)
