Full Description
The remains of a post medieval drainage system are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the east of Chaston Farm, Buckland Newton (1). The system of perpendicular ditches covers an area of 1.5 hectares; it was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project and has since been levelled (2).
