Full Description
The remains of an extensive post medieval drainage system are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 and lidar imagery to the northwest of Brockhampton Farm, Buckland Newton (1-2). The system of perpendicular ditches covers an area of over 12 hectares; it was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project and has since been partially levelled.
