Three banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Castle Lane Buckland Newton (1), one of which is marked on the OS 1st edition map (2). The features are considered likely to be of medieval or post medieval date and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
