Summary

A series of parallel banked linear features are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running north westwards from Mappowder Court for over 1km. They are considered to be levelled field boundaries of potentially of medieval date although an earlier prehistoric origin is possible. The features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
