Full Description
Banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Humher Hill Farmhouse, Mappowder. The features are potentially of medieval or post medieval date although an earlier prehistoric origin is possible. The features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project; they cover an area of over 15 hectares and may be an extension of the strip field described in MDO49265. (1)
