Full Description
The ‘new’ Quaker burial ground in Bridport is situated behind the Friends Meeting House on the east side of South Street. It was surveyed by Gwynne Stock in 1994. Fifty-one headstones were extant, showing that the axis of the graves was N-S with the head to the south. The walls are of coursed squared mortared rubble. The burial ground was opened in 1811.
The walls of the burial ground are Grade II Listed.
