A long linear banked feature is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running along the east-facing slope of the dry valley between Dole's Ash and Thorncombe Farm. The feature is over 550m long and considered likely to be a field boundary of prehistoirc origin; it was digitally digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
