Full Description
Fragments of a banked field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery running along the contour of the steep west-facing hillslope to the east of Lyscombe Farm. They are considered likely to be strip lynchets of medieval date. The features partially overlie the prehistoric field system described in MDO43356 and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (Environment Agency 2023)
