Full Description
Fragments of an extensive prehistoric field system are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs on the east-facing slopes of Lyscombe Bottom, Cheselbourne. The features are considered to be part of a wider system of fields described in MDO43358 and MDO49651, they cover an area of over 64 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
