Summary
An extensive post medieval drainage system are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 in field surrounding Aller Farm, Hilton. The bank and ditched features cover an area of over 17ha and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. The system has since been partially levelled.

An extensive post medieval drainage system are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 in field surrounding Aller Farm, Hilton. The bank and ditched features cover an area of over 17ha and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. The system has since been partially levelled. (RAF 1947, EA 2023).
