The site of a well is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the northwest of Long Close Farm, Milton Abbas. A hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery at this location and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project, it is considered likely to be the site of the well which may have earlier origins.

The site of a well is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the northwest of Long Close Farm, Milton Abbas. A hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery at this location and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project, it is considered likely to be the site of the well which may have earlier origins.
