Full Description
A series of hollows are visible as earthworks along the eastern edge of St Thomas's Hill Planation. They are cut into the prehistoric earthworks of the field system described in MDO3964 and are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits (possibly for chalk). They were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
(EA 2023).
