Summary

An intermittent ditched feature is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running downslope through Ruins Plantation, Milton Abbas. It continues the line of the potential cross dyke described in MDO4472 to the south, and of a medieval or later field boundary to the north. The linear may be of prehistoric or medieval origin and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

An intermittent ditched feature is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running downslope through Ruins Plantation, Milton Abbas. It continues the line of the potential cross dyke described in MDO4472 to the south, and of a medieval or later field boundary to the north. The linear may be of prehistoric or medieval origin and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
