Summary
Banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of Melcombe Bingham, Melcombe Horsey. They are of uncertain origin although appear to be overlain by the medieval stripfields described in MDO1710, the features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Full Description
Banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of Melcombe Bingham, Melcombe Horsey. They are of uncertain origin although appear to be overlain by the medieval stripfields described in MDO1710, the features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
