Summary

Banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of the abbey gardens, Milton Abbey, Milton Abbas. They are considered likely to be of medieval or later origin and were possibly associated with a field system and deserted settlement levelled during the creation of the landscaped park described in MDO4510, they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of the abbey gardens, Milton Abbey, Milton Abbas. They are considered likely to be of medieval or later origin and were possibly associated with a field system and deserted settlement levelled during the creation of the landscaped park described in MDO4510, they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
