Full Description
Parallel banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on the steep west facing slopes to the east and south of Coombe farm, Hilton. They are considered likely to be the remains of medieval strip lynchets although an earlier prehistoric origin is possible, and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
(EA 2023).
