Parallel banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on the north east facing slopes of Coombe Hill, Hilton. They are considered likely to be the remains of medieval strip lynchets and strip fields and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
