Full Description
Fragments of an extensive banked field system visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to either side of Cuckoo Lane, Hilton. The boundaries are considered likely to be of prehistoric origin with some reuse in the medieval period; they cover an area of over 22 ha and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. They form part of a wider field system described in MDO3973.
