Monument record MDO5142 - Bowl barrow at The Cliff, Tarrant Rawston

Bowl barrow on The Cliff 775m north north west of Smiths Cottages. One of a group of three dispersed barrows on the edge of a steep sided ridge. The barrow is 20m in diameter and 0.3m high. It is surrounded by a buried ditch around 0.3m wide. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water. The barrow is visible as an earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
