Full Description
The Crown Inn, ST 83510467, is of the mid 18th century. The W. wing of the original L-plan was extended S. in the 19th century. <1-2>

'Unless otherwise described the following 18th-century dwellings are of two storeys, or single-storied with attics, and have walls of rubble, flint, brick and cob, and thatched roofs. They are distributed along the Winterborne brook to the W., and in the village street to S. and N. of the church. . . . (13) The Crown Inn (83410467), 80 yds. N.E. of (1), is of the mid 18th century. The W. wing of the original L-plan was extended S. in the 19th century.'
