Monument record MDO5390 - Bowl barrow on Cranborne Common, Alderholt

A bowl barrow on a low spur. The barrow is recorded as being around 36 feet in diameter with a mound around 2½ feet high. A ring-ditch was identified in this vicinity on aerial photographs taken in 1946; it is possibly the site of the barrow. Site recorded during the Dorset Stour NMP.
