‘… a portion of a stone axe, which has been identified by the S.W. Museum Survey, no. 1050 (Dr. F.S. Wallis and the late Dr. J. F. S. Stone), as being of a red ferruginous sandstone, a similar material to nos. 458 and 488 found in ‘Aubrey hole’ A7 and hole Z2 at Stonehenge.’
