Full Description
A Bronze Age bowl barrow, one of a pair (see also SU 01 SW 7) located inside the later prehistoric enclosure SU 01 SW 75. It is partly cut by the Ackling Dyke Roman road. RCHME described the mound as being 45 feet in diameter and almost completely flattened by ploughing.

'Two barrows lie on a N.E. slope at about 225 ft. above O.D., immediately W. of Ackling Dyke and within enclosure (8). Both are in arable (Plate 54).
