Summary

Fragments of three rectilinear ditched enclosurea are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. They are likely to be Iron Age or Romano-British in date, and are associated with a surrounding field system (MDO48612). The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

Full Description

SY 77799643. Crop-marks of irregularly-shaped single-ditched enclosure, with rectangular (?partly double-ditched enclosure) immediately adjacent to the north-west. These features lie within the area of an IA/RB field system and are probably associated with it. <1>

Fragments of three rectilinear ditched enclosurea are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. They are likely to be Iron Age or Romano-British in date, and are associated with a surrounding field system (MDO48612). The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.<5-6>.
