'RDX 53 ST 97390205 B3582 Blandford to Wimborne road. A ditch. 1.0 m deep and 2.0 m wide was seen in the pipetrench beneath the present road surface at the start of the Beech Avenue. It has been truncated by the road make-up and ran north-west, south-east. A small fragment of possibly Iron Age pottery was recovered from the fill.'
