Full Description
'Woodcutts Common, ST 965174 (also known as Woodcutts, Site 1 by the discoverers). This is one of a series of rich sites around Woodcutts. Finds include: 2 microliths with oblique blunting (form A 1); 3 or more picks; 2 flake axes; 1 burin; 1 point with basal retouch forming a tang; 1 concave scraper; 2 core-trimming flakes; about a dozen flakes, variously retouched, and waste flakes. Three of the flakes are of Portland chert.' (1)
