Full Description
A mound listed by Grinsell in his gazetteer of bowl barrows (as Wimborne St Giles 42b) but suggested by him to "apparently" represent one end of a positive lynchet, presumably part of field system SU 01 NW 80. Another similar mound, suggested by Grinsell to represent the other end of the same lynchet, is recorded as SU 01 NW 63 <1>. [Note: see MDO44635].
NB this mound/lynchet was originally recorded as part of SU 01 NW 63.
