Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1975 this monument was reported as being around 100 feet in diameter, with a mound about 4 feet high. The site of the round barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch on aerial photographs . It lies to the southwest of the southern henge of Knowlton Circles and is one of the extensive Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. The ring ditch is 36m across, it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1975 this monument was reported as being around 100 feet in diameter, with a mound about 4 feet high (1). The site of the round barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch on aerial photographs (2-3). It lies to the southwest of the southern henge of Knowlton Circles and is one of the extensive Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. The ring ditch is 36m across, it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
