Full Description
A possible Late Neolithic site has been identified from a flint scatter found by Ken Standing and John Smith. The flints recovered include 1 flint knife, 1 end scraper, 2 side scrapers, 7 retouched flakes, 1 'fabricator', 46 flakes and 7 cores. (1)

Late Neolithic site: Knighton Heath, Poole. SZ 05109610.
This site is on the 40m contour, at the top of a small dry valley. The area ws a smallhoulding prior to 1983, and since that date it had been built on. The following flints have been recovered: 1 flint knife, 1 class 'A' short end scraper, 2 class 'D' long side secrapers, 7 retouched flikes, 1 fabricator, 46 flakes and 7 cores or core fragments.
