The barrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (3-4). The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.

The east mound of three Bronze Age round barrows called the ‘Three Barrows’ on Woodward’s map (1775). Mutilation of the mound by later disturbance has created an irregular plan for the monument (See 112765). The approximate diameter of the mound is 17m, its height is 1.3m. There is no visible ditch. The site was visited 17/7/1992.
