Full Description
A spread of burnt flint approximately 2 metres in diameter was seen after the topsoil was removed from Plot 63.2. This feature lay in the path of construction traffic, and so could not be examined further. The filling of an adjacent ditch contained burnt flint, two pieces of Bronze Age pottery, and worked flint; it may have been associated with the spread of burnt flint. <1>
