Summary

An oval mound situated on the valley floor, and interpreted as a possible round barrow. In 1970 this monument was described as being around 45 feet in diameter with a mound about 9 inches high, much spread and reduced by ploughing.

A bowl barrow (Dimensions not given). <2>

A bowl barrow, 26.0 metres diameter, 0.8 metres high. No trace of ditch or excavation. Under grass. <3>

SY 83949707. Oval mound, possible barrow, 60ft by 45ft and 9ins. High much spread by ploughing and situated on a valley floor. <5>

SY 83939707. A close inspection was not possible because of crops, but the mound appears to be generally as described. Revised at 1:2500 on MSD from RCHM (4) measurements. <6>
