Full Description

A crescentic implement of chert, 5.1 ins long, found at `Bottom near Chapman's Pool. In British Museum Acc. No. 1918.11.2. <1>

No further information regarding the find spot of this implement but the land from Hill Bottom, south along the valley to Chapman's Pool (centred ST 961777) is known locally as 'The Bottom'. <2>
