Ferny Barrows (name not confirmed): 'A'. SY 86648164. Bowl barrow, diameter 16.5m., height 1.3m. … Both barrows are in an arable field but have not been ploughed over. Resurveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>

Bowl barrow. One of two barrows known as Ferny Barrows. They are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs, situated on the summit of a slight rise <5-6>. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
