Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1970 the monument was recorded as being irregular and much-disturbed, with a diameter of 39 feet and a surviving height of one and a half feet. The barrow is visible as a sub-circular 25m in diameter earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

Full Description

SY 67959625. Possible barrow, now roughly oval and 13 x 8 paces diameter and 1.5ft high situated on Bushy Eweleaze. Partly destroyed. <1>

SY 67959625. Barrow? consisting of an irregular and much disturbed mound, 39ft by 25ft diameter and 1.5ft high. <2>

Only the lynchet on which this mound stood now remains. <3>

The barrow is visible as a sub-circular 25m in diameter earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <5>
