Full Description
A ditchless bowl-barrow that has been dug into on the south side. <1>
14 Paces diam, 3ft 6ins high, smothered in bushes. <3>
A bowl-barrow, 36 feet diameter and 3 1/2 feet high. <4>
At ST 70620250 in arable farmland lies a small ditchless bowl barrow 10.0m north south by 12.0m east-west, and up to 1.2m high. Though ploughed up to its margin, the barrow remains grass covered, and undisturbed. Visible on OS air photographs. Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <5>
