(SY 819829) Barrow shown. <1-2>
A barrow possibly existed at SY81938295 (OS 1811). (No trace on RAF APs CPE/UK 1821?2434-5). <3>
A mound is visible in the vicinity on aerial photographs <4> which may be the site of the barrow. It was digtally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.

‘Most of the seventeen barrows lie on heathland N. of the village, five forming the Black Knoll Group (AC). Another barrow possibly existed at 81938295 (O.S. 1811). Some on Winfrith Down, perhaps including (32), were excavated by Durden but cannot now be identified (Durden Catalogue, 9, no. 110; 21, nos. 50–54).’
