Full Description
A & B Bowl barrows. No details given. <2>
'A' has a diameter of 9.0 metres and a height of 0.8 metres. It is flat topped and has no surrounding ditch. Slightly pitted on top and covered with heather and coniferous trees. Bowl barrow. <4>
'A' - (49) SY 82228912. Bowl barrow, 30ft diameter and 3ft high, probably disturbed on top, and tree-covered. <5>
SY 823892. Two round barrows south-west of Cambrai House. Scheduled. <6>
Bowl barrow 'A' now measures 12.5 metres north-east to south-west and 11.5 metres north-west to south-east and is 1.1 metres high, with traces of a surrounding ditch to the south-east, 1.5 metres wide and 0.2 metres deep. A recent shallow hole 1.2 metres across has been cut in its top. Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <7>
