Full Description

A bronze finger ring found by Miss Joan Barrett in her garden at Church Lane, Wool, is in Dorset County Museum (Acc. No. 1951.3.1) The bezel of this ring bears an incised trefoil on a latticed field; on the hoop on either side of the bezel is a triangle with latticed engraving. <1>

The site where this ring was found was pointed out on the ground by Miss Barrett, and surveyed at SY 84748753. No further finds have been made in the garden since 1950 when the ring was found. <1>
