Summary

Site of a possible Bronze Age bowl barrow. Ordnance Survey field investigation in 1954 noted a vague mound at the recorded location. The mound was around 22 metres in diameter and 0.4 metres high, with no visible surrounding ditch. The field investigator noted that accurate identification in its present condition [is] almost impossible. Trial excavation in November 1982 in advance of redevelopment failed to find evidence of occupation or ring-ditches.

A Tumulus is recorded in this location on the 1st edition OS 25 inch map. <1>

Bowl Barrow, no dimensions given. <3>

A vague mound, 22.0m diameter, 0.4m high in a pasture. No visible ditch. Accurate identification in its present condition almost impossible. <4>
