Monument record MDO8780 - Bowl barrow, Hurn, Christchurch

A bowl barrow, diameter 19.0 m, height 1.8 m, extensively mutilated by cattle and rabbits in the north-west quadrant. The barrow was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.

The barrow is within an area of reclaimed common, and is described in 3. Published survey (O.S. 25" 1900) revised. <4>

The barrow is visible on 1940s aerial photographs <6> and was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
