Summary

Farm house, originally two houses, linked by roofing over a narrow passage between them. Left hand house late fifteenth early sixteenth century. Right-hand house probably early seventeenth century but altered, and extended to right in eighteenth or nineteenth century. Flint and rubble stone walls with some brick dressings. Hipped thatched roof; brick stacks along ridge.

Full Description

Aller Farm was probably built in the 17th century but was subsequently enlarged and may at one time have been several dwellings. <1>

Aller Farmhouse. Originally 2 houses, possibly a unit system, linked by roofing over a narrow passage between them. 'The left-hand house in late 15th/early 16th centuries. Right-hand house probably early 17th century but altered.' <2,3>
