Summary

House of early 19th-century date but thought possibly to incorporate earlier buildings at the rear. A date stone '1824' on the rear porch may have been re-set. The walls of the building are covered in plaster, and it has a slate roof with parapet and plastered chimney stacks. A service range at the rear appears originally to have been a separate cottage.
