Summary

Between the lodges, a pair of square ashlar stone gatepiers, with dentil cornices and caps with ball finials. Probably built around 1775, to designs by Sir William Chambers. These piers are linked to the lodges by upswept ashlar stone walls. Ornamental iron gates with U-shaped top, and arrow-head tops to uprights.
