Summary

A cottage at the end of a terrace and thought to have been built in the 18th century, but with the appearance of having been built in two stages. The building has walls partly of colourwashed brick and partly of cob covered in plaster, and a thatched roof.

‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 18th century and of two storeys, or one storey with attics; the walls are of brick and the roofs are thatched. … (10) Cottage, adjoining (9) on the W., is of similar materials and character.’
