Full Description
The house is of 17th c. origin, with modern additions on N and S. It retains a number of stone mullion windows, and internally has many 17th c. fittings. <2>
The house is still called THE ROOKERY. The house is of stone with a slate roof. The W front, with mullion windows and stone doorway, is stuccoed. The E front has similar windows and an entrance porch with a stone arch. Adjoining this porch, on the N side, is a small modern addition, and the N and S ends of the house have been lengthened by 5.0m additions. The building appears to be in a good state of repair. <3>
